A TV anime adaptation of "The Slow Second Life of a Dismissed Dark Soldier (in his 30s)" has been announced.

Based on a popular manga published in Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine (original story: Okazawa Rokujushi, manga: Rurekutsu, original character design: Sage Joe), which has sold over 1 million copies in total. It is a slapstick action and comedy fantasy that depicts the daily lives of demons, monsters, and humans, centering on Dariel, a dark soldier who has been fired from his position as an assistant to the Four Heavenly Kings in the demon king's army. The adventurers are inundated with collecting and defeating monsters, and the village girls attack them fiercely⁉ A second life that is not easy to relax begins....

Currently, three volumes of novels and six volumes of comics have been published, and the seventh volume of the latest comics will be released today, July 20 (Wed.). The TV anime will be broadcast from January 2023, and congratulatory comments from the original author, Okazawa Rokujushi-sensei, and from the manga author, Rurekkue-sensei, and illustrations have arrived.
