The synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 16 of the fourth series of the TV anime "Kingdom," currently airing on NHK Sogo, have been released.

Kingdom" (authored by Yasuhisa Hara) is a Chinese Warring States epic romance about a boy, Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general under the heaven, and the future First Emperor, Isei (CV: Jun Fukuyama). The second live-action movie was released on July 15, 2022.

The synopsis and advance scene cuts of the 16th episode of the TV anime, which will air from 24:00 on July 23 (Sat.), have been released.

Episode 16 "The Crowning Ceremony"
Hamyang discovers that Empress Dowager and her lover, Yeonan, had an illegitimate child together. Hamyang is in an uproar after being informed that sanctions will not be spared.
Minister Tora Reki forces Empress Dowager and her son to choose between raising an army or surrendering by handing over the heads of Empress Dowager, Empress Yilan, and their children. With no way back now, what decision does Empress Dowager make? ......
Meanwhile, in Yong, the former capital of Qin Dynasty, preparations are steadily underway for the "crowning ceremony" of the 31st King of Qin, Isei.
