The fourth episode of the TV anime "My Stepmother's Stepdaughter Was My Ex-Girlfriend," which is currently airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, and other stations, has revealed its synopsis, advance scene cuts, and various Blu-ray bonus illustrations.

The original story is "Stepmother's stepdaughter was my ex-girlfriend" (Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko) by Kyosuke Kamishiro, which also won the grand prize in the 3rd Kakuyom web novel contest "Love Comedy Category". The story depicts the relationship between Mizuto and Yume, two former junior high school sweethearts who have become step-siblings, who have decided on a rule not to be conscious of each other, but find their relationship shifting.
