Meta Quest 2 has a new price! Beat Saber" is available for download for a limited time!

The Oculus Blog announced the price revision of Meta Quest 2 and the availability of the "Beat Saber" download for a limited time.

Meta has been focused on VR for many years, from the early days of PC and mobile to today's premium 6DoF capable all-in-one VR headsets. The decision to change the price was made in order to continue their long-term investment and continue to move the VR industry forward with industry-leading hardware, action-packed games, and cutting-edge research to develop a truly next-generation device.


Beginning in August, the Meta Quest 2 will be priced at 59,400 yen (tax included) for the 128GB version and 74,400 yen (tax included) for the 256GB version. For a limited time, new users of the headset will be able to download the popular VR rhythm game "Beat Saber" at no additional charge*.
Prices for Meta Quest 2 accessories will also be revised.


Meta has a grand roadmap for VR hardware, starting with a high-end headset, Project Cambria, scheduled to launch by the end of the year. After that, there are plans to release a new generation of Meta Quest.


Games for Meta Quest 2 include Ghostbusters VR, Along Us VR, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution, BONELAB, and NFL PRO ERA (the first official NFL game in VR). and more are scheduled for release.
