The original arcade-based version of this masterpiece comes back to life! Detailed information on the Switch "SEGA AGES Puyopuyo Street" is now available!

SEGA Games, Inc. has released detailed information on its upcoming Nintendo Switch software title "SEGA AGES Puyopuyo Dori.

Puyopuyo Puyo Dori" is the second title of the action puzzle game "Puyopuyo," which first appeared as an arcade game in 1994 and is said to be especially popular among fans as the most hotly contested game.

Puyopuyo Dori" will soon be revived as "SEGA AGES Puyopuyo Dori" for Nintendo Switch, based on the original arcade version.

The game will feature an "offset" system that allows players to cancel each other's "Oyama Puyopuyo," as well as a response time that is as close as possible to that of the original arcade version. The game will also feature network battles, high score rankings, and the "time-back" feature familiar from the "SEGA AGES" version.

The game modes that will be used in "SEGA AGES Puyopuyo Dori" have now been revealed.

■Arcade Mode
This mode allows players to play the original arcade version of "Puyopuyo Puyo Dori. Online ranking of scores is also supported.

Kachinuki Mode
Play against all rivals in the tower.

Two Player Puyopuyo Mode
A mode in which you can play Puyo Puyo on a single Nintendo Switch.

Network Battle
Online battle mode. You can create a room with your friends and play against each other, or enjoy playing in a random match.
