Neither the anime adaptation nor the decision of the OP theme song is a "lie"! NACHERRY (Chiemi Solinaka and Natsumi Murakami) will sing the OP theme song for the fall anime "4 People Tell Lies to Each Other"!

It has been announced that NACHERRY, a unit of main cast members Chiemi Tanaka and Natsumi Murakami, will sing the theme song for the TV anime "4 People Tell Lies to Each Other" scheduled to start airing from October 2022.

4 People Tell Lies to Each Other" (original story by Madoka Kashihara) is a new type of "chaotic" school comedy serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2020. It depicts four close friends who hide their true identities from each other: an alien, a loose-fitting ninja, a psychic, and a cross-dressing boy. Although the series was in danger of ending when it was first published, it was decided to continue the series along with the anime adaptation.

Following the recently released cast comments, information on the OP theme song was also announced.

The OP theme song will be "Eclipse" by NACHERRY, a voice actor unit consisting of two of the cast members, Ms. Chiemi Solanaka and Ms. Natsumi Murakami!
The song expresses the feeling that "every self is a true self" and is in line with the theme of the anime "Secrets, Lies, and Double-sidedness". The song is said to be close to the theme of the anime "Secrets, Lies, and Double-Sidedness." The intense drums and guitars in the intro are impressive, and the rock sound is said to be a new frontier for NACHERRY.

The surprise announcement, which was made to look like a lie (......), was met with a video comment from the audience, who were overjoyed.

A video of the surprise announcement of the theme song to be sung by Ms. Soltanaka and Ms. Murakami was also released.

While delighted at the decision of the theme song, Ms. Soltanaka asked, "You said you couldn't do it, didn't you? The two were both very excited by the pleasant surprise, although both were skeptical, saying "You mean you lied when you said you would not sing the theme song? Ms. Solanaka commented on being in charge of the theme song for the film, "I'm so happy to have my dream tie-up come true with this film. Ms. Murakami also commented, "What a surprise ︕ NACHERRY will be in charge of the OP theme song ︕ ︕ I am so happy ︕ The lyrics of "Eclipse" are in line with the theme of the anime such as "duality" and "lies" so please pay attention and listen to it ︕".

One coupling song will be a different song for each of the two formats. The NACHERRY version will include a Blu-ray with the music video of the title song "Eclipse" and a making-of featurette. The first edition includes a lottery ticket for the invitation to NACHERRY's 1st LIVE Meet & Greet.
In addition, to celebrate the release of this single, a super-early reservation campaign and store original special offers will be offered.
