Part 58: Macross F VF-25F Messiah Ranka Lee Part 2

In the last issue, we reviewed the bare Lanka, Variable Fighter's fighter form, and in the second part, we would like to try to review the gawk form and the battroid form!

The kit is enjoyable enough at this point, but the real work begins here.

Finally, let's equip Lanka with the Messiah and transform it into a battroid form!

The ghawk form is disassembled into this part.

Then, reassemble the intake parts, etc. ......

Connect the parts to the side of Lanka's thigh. Put the leg parts of Messiah on Lanka like boots.

Attach joint parts to the back.

Remove the parts near the root of the nose of Messiah. ......

Fold the nose.

Connect the transformed Messiah body to the back.

Attach both arm parts used for GAWALK, and attach the nose root part removed earlier to the front of the shoulder to complete the main body. In the photo, a camera-like part that was originally the head of Messiah is attached to the side of the right arm, and a speaker pod is held by the right arm.

The back of the figure has a tremendous amount of information, but the coloring gives it a sleek impression.

The visor of the helmet can be left down.

The mechanical legs cover the shabby legs, greatly increasing the volume of the figure. The balance between the two is irresistible.

The body is reminiscent of Messiah's batroid form.

Looking at it from the side, you can see that Lanka's legs are properly seated.

The arms attached to the arms extending from the back are almost the Messiah itself.

The head part of the Messiah can also be held in the hand. It also has lens parts, so it looks like a camera.

In this Plus One-Time, we will prove that it is recommended to apply decals to the parts where stickers and water-transfer decals are available.

First, the phone screen. Some of the contents of the email cannot be read with the naked eye. They are printed in a resolution that can be read properly when enlarged.

As you can see, it is better to use decals to make the margins less conspicuous and the model more complete. The decal is attached to the main wing and the sticker is attached to the plastic plate below the decal. As you can see, the stickers are not very easy to use, but this is a weak point of the stickers.

In addition, decals were applied to the areas shown below. The decals are easily peeled off if the decals are left in place, so this time they are coated with glossy clear to protect them.

The winking face, which is not included in the pre-printed face parts, can be prepared by using water-transfer decals and unpainted face. The "sparkle" + wink is nice.

The color-coded parts rely on stickers, and the parts that look better with decals are the Messiah with decals attached. For markings such as "SMS" and "SMS007," we recommend using decals that do not have noticeable margins, so even if you have no experience with decals, please take this opportunity to try them.
