The funeral was held only with his relatives.


Mr. Otake began his career as a voice actor in the 1960s, at the dawn of Japanese TV programs.
His representative works include the role of the pig gorilla in "Kiteretsu Hyakka," as well as comical characters such as Parman #2/Booby in "Parman (TBS version)," Nyarome in "Mooretsu Ataro," and Nico-chan the Great in "Dr. Slump Arale-chan.

He took a temporary leave of absence in 1991 and returned to work in 1995 as Balaclose in "Choryoku Sentai Ohranger.

He received the 9th Seiyu Award of Merit in 2015.
