'Deserted Island Settlement' Comes to FFXIV! Live farm animals in the UK until August 19!

The online RPG "Final Fantasy XIV" will unveil new content, "Deserted Island Exploration," in a major update on August 23.

Developed and operated by Square Enix, "FFXIV" is an online RPG that allows players to explore with other players around the world, with more than 25 million registered accounts. The game offers a rich storyline and battles, of course, but players can also enjoy building, item production, fishing, and other activities. The latest expansion package "FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawn Moon Finale" is now on sale as a complete pack.

A new content, "Deserted Island Exploration," is scheduled to be released with the major update Patch 6.2 "Forbidden Memories" on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. On your own island, you can enjoy a freewheeling slow life by free-roaming minions, raising livestock, cultivating crops, and producing specialty products.

In addition, to commemorate the release of "Desert Island Settlement," a live-streaming project, "Mog Shoot Farm," will begin! The "Mogshoot Farm" will be broadcast from the Mudchute Farm in London, England. From today until around 9:00 p.m. on August 19 (Fri.), viewers can watch the daily lives of the animals living on the farm.

The animals will be fed every day from 0:00 to 0:15 and from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m. (Japan time), and viewers will be able to vote for their favorite animal to be fed. Let's feel as if we are visiting a farm in England and be healed from the comfort of our own home.

Patch 6.2 "Forbidden Memories" will also include a new main storyline, the high difficulty raid "Pandemonium: Purgatory," and various other contents. Details can be found on the special site.
