The PV of "Harakami" Ver. 3.0 "A Thousand Roses to Tell the Dawn" to be released on August 24th! Introducing the new region "Sumeru" and characters.

The Ver. 3.0 major update of the open world RPG "Genshin Impact" will be implemented on August 24, 2012.

Genshin Impact" is set in a fantasy world called "Teiwat," and combines high-end 3D graphics like those of anime with an open world, allowing players to freely explore the vast world. The game is available for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch in the future.

The long-awaited new region of Sumeru will be opened in a major update on August 24, 2022, titled "The Thousand Roses that Tell of the Dawn". New characters were also unveiled.

Smail, located on the west side of Rigetsu, is divided into two regions, the rainforest and the desert, and Ver. 3.0 will mainly open up the rainforest region.
In Ver. 3.0, the rainforest area will mainly be open to visitors. They can explore the lush rainforest and the places where people gather, such as Sumeru City and Olmos Harbor.

Known as the Land of Wisdom, Sumeru has the most prestigious and historic academic institution, the Teaching Temple, founded by scholars who followed the previous grass god Maharukkadevata.

The youngest of the seven deities, "Kulaksanaridevi," succeeds his predecessor, the grass god, and assumes power over the Teaching Academy and becomes the administrator of the country. Knowledge was then strictly controlled as a kind of resource.

In addition, new elemental reactions related to the grass elements were implemented. When the grass element comes into contact with the fire, water, and lightning elements, it causes three basic elemental reactions: combustion, flowering, and intensification.

■New demons and BOSS
In Sumeru, one can witness numerous creatures, plants, and demons with a variety of ecologies. The "kinocon" is a form of mushrooms that have evolved on their own to protect their habitat in the humid tropics of Sumer, where more wild species can live. The new BOSS "Mushraptor" is a representative of the Kinocon that has acquired a strong animalistic, territorial, and aggressive nature.

Another BOSS, "Xun Denju," also awaits travelers deep in the forest in Sumeru.

In Ver. 3.0, characters who make full use of the grass element will also be officially implemented. As a traveler, players can also release the power of the grass element from the Seven Heavenly Gods statue in Sumeru.

One of the new grass elemental archers is the ★5 character "Tinari" (CV: Sanae Kobayashi), a young scholar and ranger-in-chief with enthusiasm. His heavy blows and elemental explosions deal multistage damage and are well-suited to setting off grass-element related chain reactions.

Koray (CV: Ryoko Maekawa), another grass elemental archer and student of Tinari, is implemented as a ★4 character; Koray can be invited for a limited time & for free by clearing the theme event "Sculpture of Innocence" to be held in Ver. 3.0.

In addition to the grass elemental characters, "Dolly" (CV: Tomoko Kaneda) is implemented as a ★4 thunder elemental supporter. Dolly is a traveling merchant who is a god in Sumeru and wields a two-handed sword. Elemental explosions can recover HP and elemental energy of surrounding team members.

In Ver. 3.0, the first half of the event prayer features the ★5 "Tinari" and the ★5 "Jonglei" is back. In the second half of the event, 5 "Koray" will appear in the first half. In the second half of the event, 5 "Gan Ame" and 5 "Coral Palace Kokkai" will appear again, and 4 "Dolly" will appear in both prayers.
