TV anime "TSURUNE - A Shot of Connection -" to start airing in January 2023! Jun Fukuyama plays a new character!

The second season of the TV anime "Tsurune" will air in January 2023.

Tsurune -Kazumai High School Kyudo Club-" (written by Kotoko Ayano/illustrated by Chinatsu Morimoto), published by KAESMA Bunko, depicts the adolescence of high school boys devoted to Kyudo. It won the Special Jury Prize in the Novel Division of the 7th Kyoto Animation Awards, and the TV anime was broadcast on NHK General TV in October 2018, with the movie version being released on August 19, 2022.

Tsurune the Movie -Hajimari no Ippou-" opens in theaters nationwide today, August 19 (Friday). At the stage greeting held at Shinjuku Piccadilly, the decision to broadcast the second season of the TV anime "Tsurune - Tsunagari no Ippatsu" and information on new characters and cast were announced.

The teaser visual shows Minato Narumiya (played by Yusho Kamimura), Melancholy Fujiwara (played by Kensho Ono), and Eisuke Nikaido (played by Jun Fukuyama), a new character, standing side by side in the sunset at the archery field.

The title of the visual is "A shot of connection" following "Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot," and it is beautiful, yet somehow has a hint of something unusual about it.

At the "Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot" stage greeting on Friday, August 26, the PV for "Tsurune: The First Shot" will be shown first. Some theaters will be selling tickets to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis at a later date, so keep an eye on the official SNS and other information.

In addition, as an admission present for "Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot," a limited number of "Tsunagaru ! Coaster (3 kinds at random)", newly illustrated by character designer Miku Kadowaki, will be distributed as an admission present for "Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot".
Before the second season airs next year, experience the world of "Tsurune" at the theater first.

Minato Narumiya was diagnosed with "hayaiki," a bowdler's disease, and decided to step down from archery.
After entering high school, Minato's feelings are not changed when his best friend Shizuya Takehaya says he will join the archery club.
However, after a fateful encounter with Takigawa Masaki, Minato picks up the bow again, despite being hurt.
He says, "I feel like I can see many things now that I'm back in the Kyudo Club."
While Masaki is teaching Minato, he also harbors a deep desire for revenge against his own master.
I will never be a master like him.
Masaki and Minato begin to move forward together.
Shizuya, who has supported Minato up until now, begins to think that he is no longer needed.
I hate you, Mr. Takigawa. I hate you.

Minato continues to struggle with the pain of his bow.
