TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" reveals new character visuals and cast! Jun Fukuyama will play the role of Taro Kabachi and Shin Furukawa will play the role of Shingo Katori!

New character visuals and cast members have been revealed from the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora," which is set to air in October 2019.

The "Ahiru no Sora" is a basketball manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) by Takeshi Hyuga. It has been loved by fans for about 15 years since its serialization began, and has sold over 24 million copies in total. The TV anime version is directed by Keizo Kusakawa, whose works include "Kaze Natsu" and "Fleet Konnichiwa". Animation production will be handled by Dio Media, which also produced "BEATLESS" and "Aho Girl.

Last month, the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" created quite a stir with its PV, character visuals, cast information, and an angry release of information including messages of support from B-Leaguers.
Following the addition of Shinichi Chiba and Tokiwa Tokki from Shin Maruko High School, character visuals of Taro Gamachi and Shingo Katori from Kita Sumiyoshi High School (a.k.a. Kitazumi) have now been released.

Jun Fukuyama will play the role of the narcissistic and bossy Gamachi, who boasts of his outstanding physical abilities and basketball sense, and Shin Furukawa will play the role of Katori, or "KATO," who handles Gamachi well and contributes to the team with his calm play.

The characters of the rival schools, their dynamic visuals, and the splendid cast members will heighten the anticipation for the full-length anime. We cannot take our eyes off of the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" in the future!
