The first broadcast date of the second season of the fall 2022 anime "Muv-Luv Alternative," scheduled to begin airing on Fuji Television's "+Ultra" and other channels in October 2022, has been set for October 5 (Wednesday). In addition, the main visual for the second season and the first PV for the second season have been released.

Muv-Luv" is an adventure game series planned and produced by the game brand "ARGE" and released in 2003, which has sold over 800,000 copies. The project has been developed into many shared world titles and media mixes.

The TV anime "Muv-Luv Alternative" will be broadcast on Fuji Television's "+Ultra" and other channels from October 6, 2021 (Wednesday). In a 15-second video released immediately after the broadcast of the twelfth episode, a tactical plane with red lights floating in the darkness appeared, and with the narration by Tomori Kusunoki, who plays Junatsu Kan, it was announced that the second season would be broadcast.

In the main visual released this time, we can see Takeshi Shiragin, who is struggling across parallel worlds to save the human race from being overrun by an extraterrestrial species called "BETA", and his childhood friend, Junatsu, who is living peacefully in a world without "BETA". The story depicts Junatsu Kan, a childhood friend of Takeshi's who is spending his life peacefully in a world without "BETA" and whom he has not met in the parallel world infested with "BETA". The two are drawn with sad expressions on their faces as they reach for each other's hands, foreshadowing their harsh destiny, while the tactical walking fighter "Shiranui" and the strategic air mobile fortress "Sokunohou-2" in the background add a sense of power. The "Shiranui" tactical walking fighter (tactical aircraft) and the strategic air mobile fortress "Sosonoho-2" in the background give a powerful impression.

In the first PV released at the same time, the latest images of the second season are also shown for the first time.
It depicts Takeshi and his team, who have graduated from training and become regular soldiers in the United Nations military, going into battle against "BETA," and the intense battle action of "BETA" and tactical aircraft attacking mankind with overwhelming force is unfolded. The film depicts a battle with the BETA.
Expectations are high for the battle between the "BETA" and the tactical machines, which will finally begin in order to change the hopeless fate of the human race.
