Akiba Research Institute is currently running a giveaway campaign for two winners to win a copy of the PlayStation(R)4 action adventure "New Sakura Wars," which will be released on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

New Sakura Taisen" is a dramatic 3D action adventure set in the fictional "Taisho Era" Imperial City of Tokyo, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil. The main character design is by Kubo Taito, known as the creator of the manga "BLEACH" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha). The music is by Kouhei Tanaka, who has provided many songs for previous titles in the series. The story will be composed by Ishiijiro, who is active in a variety of media including games, TV animation, and movies.

New Sakura Taisen" is a dramatic 3D action-adventure game set in Tokyo, the Imperial Capital of Japan in the 29th year of the Taisho Era, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil.

The "Imperial Assault Droids, Hanagumi," led by the main character, clash with the demons that have appeared in the Imperial Capital and with the Assault Droids that have sprung up in other cities around the world. The storyline progresses through repeated "adventures" and "battles" as the heroine and other heroines forge a bond.

The year is Taisho 29, in the imperial capital of Tokyo. The battle for the fate of the world is about to begin!

The story begins 12 years after "Sakura Taisen V: Saraba Aishiki Hito" in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The "New Imperial Blowout Squad" led by Seijuro Kamiyama, the main character of the story, clashes with the "Descendents" who have appeared in the Imperial Capital once again, as well as with the "Blowout Squads" that have sprung up in other cities around the world.

The characters, all of whom are "starring-level", are created by a cast of splendid illustrators and voice actors, and are full of charm!

The game system is a power-up of the series' familiar structure in which players develop bonds with the heroines through repeated "adventures" and "battles!　In the adventure part, players can freely explore the Imperial Theater and the streets of Ginza, which are depicted in 3D graphics, to communicate with the members of the Imperial Rifle Corps and enjoy various stories. By fostering trust with the heroines, you can not only influence the storyline but also gain an advantage in the battle part. Of course, anime movies, mini-games, and various other elements will liven up the game.
