The Espinas subspecies of "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" will be added in the title update at the end of September!

Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" began today, August 25, 2022, with the release of the event quest "Wesou Attack: Mad Feast of Destruction and Ruin". It was also announced that the second free title update scheduled for the end of September will include an additional monster, the Espinas subspecies.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break," released on June 30, 2022, is a major expansion to the Switch/Steam game "Monster Hunter Rise. Centered on the observation base "Elgad," which investigates monster anomalies, the game features new monsters called the "Three Dukes of the King's Domain," the kingdom's greatest threat, as well as subspecies monsters and a series of revived monsters from the series.

After downloading the event quests, the game can be played offline indefinitely!

Each Event Quest can be received from the "Additional Contents" menu in the "Post Office" in Kamra no Sato or Observation Base Elgado, and can be ordered from the "Event Quest" at the quest counter in the meeting place or observation base counter.
An Internet connection is required to receive quests. Quests that have already been downloaded can be played offline indefinitely.
Some Event Quests have order and participation requirements.
To use downloadable content and play over the Internet, you will need to update to the latest version.
