The classic RPG comes back to life on smartphones! THE LAST REMNANT Remastered" for smartphones is available today!

Square Enix, Inc. today launched THE LAST REMNANT Remastered on the App Store and Google Play on December 12, 2019.

THE LAST REMNANT is an RPG released by Square Enix in 2008 for Xbox 360, with Remastered versions available for PlayStation 4 in 2018 and Nintendo Switch in 2019 (both both only available for download). In this title, players battle enemy armies in group battles involving up to 70 units. The battle system is turn-based, and each troop is commanded as the battle unfolds.

The iOS & Android version of "THE LAST REMNANT Remastered" released today implements a UI compatible with smartphone screen touch operation, enabling comfortable gameplay with a feel unique to smartphones. In battles, the concept of "morale" exists, and as morale increases, attack power increases and damage from enemy forces can be reduced.

<Story>
The world gradually fell into warfare over a mysterious object called "Remnant" that has existed since ancient times. About 1,000 years have passed since then. The protagonist Rush lives a peaceful life until his sister Irina is kidnapped by a mysterious group that suddenly appears and the story begins to unfold.
