This month, we introduce "spherical" capsule toys! The "Funkorogashi" and the "Watermelon Split" have become capsule toys! Wacky Kaiyama's latest gacha exploration No. 67

This summer, a historic event took place. My alma mater, Sendai Ikuei Gakuen, won the Koshien High School Baseball Tournament in the summer! This was the first time that a team from the Tohoku region won the championship! The crimson flag of victory came across the Shirakawa-no-Seki barrier to Sendai.

On the day of the game, I suppressed my desire to go to Koshien and went home with all sorts of Sendai Ikuei goods, including a Sendai Ikuei towel, an uchiwa fan, a key chain with the original character "Leon-kun," and for some reason a ballpoint pen. I felt the fun of baseball again.

The coach's last words were also good!

Such a hot summer has come to an end, and outside I can hear the chitter-chitter-chitter of autumn insects. Feeling a little sentimental, I picked up another wonderful capsule toy. Perhaps they brought us the winning "un"? Let's start with such a lucky insect figure.

Animalier Collection 1/1 Dung beetle - 500 yen SO-TA - 4 kinds in total

Finally, a new figure! With the momentum of the recent realistic insect boom, we have been waiting to see if it would appear. Moreover, this is a real gem supervised by Mr. Keitaka Fukui, a young leading expert in the production of insect specimens! This is a gacha of the fungkorogashi.

You may know it, but don't worry, there is an instruction manual and mini-book enclosed.

What is it? The correct term is "dung beetle. They are important decomposers of excrement in nature and live mainly in arid regions. They use the light of the sun or the moon to determine the direction in which to roll their feces. It's an amazing ability!

It also introduces some hilarious ecology, such as males making gift balls for females and couples jointly making wedding balls.

In ancient Egypt, it was a sacred insect that was identified with the sun god, a symbol of rebirth and resurrection. Hmmm... .......

I have put the basic knowledge into my head.

Now let's open the capsule!

Black-headed scarab beetle

This is a black shiny bug. 1/1, so it is life-size. I had an image of something much smaller, so I learned a lot again.

Looking at the mini-book, I inserted the fine leg parts into the body, and it was completed in no time. Set up to carry feces with its hind legs.

This is a miniature of a turd, but it is also too realistic! The shape is lumpy, and instead of using only brown, black is mixed in for shading, etc. Didn't you really make this one? The details are so ho-hum that you want to say, "I'm not kidding.

I am satisfied with the best fake shit. I'm glad it doesn't smell! Is it natural?

Part of the turd is flattened to keep it in a dynamic position and also to decorate it. The habit of the dung beetle to carry a feces many times its body weight in such a position. It is truly amazing.

Ken Lantern Tamaoshikogane

This one is an elegant green. It's Viridian, isn't it? It's so gorgeous and gorgeous!

Hmmm? I guess that's why the word "kenran" is in its name.

The glossy body is enchanting. The tips of the legs have beetle-like hooks, and the back legs that hold up feces and the front legs that support the earth are so realistically reproduced that they look as if they could move at any moment. I wonder if the slightly upturned face is angled to search for the moon or the sun.

Ensifer longicorn beetle (navy blue)

What? This one does not attach feces? I was disappointed, but was surprised when I assembled it! It has a cool form.

Is this a dinosaur? Or is this a mobile suit from "Gundam"? The horns look like armor of warlords in the Warring States period, but it is said to be a dung beetle.

They do not carry their feces round to their nests, but gather around the feces to live.

In Brazil, where they live, it is forbidden to take wild animals out of the country, so I was surprised to hear that they based this product on a specimen collected more than 100 years ago. It is amazing because you can actually touch it and observe it at your leisure.

The parts are not only arms and legs, but also a separate body, and when assembled, it feels very heavy and satisfying.

Turn the miniature over and check the eyes and mouth. They are slightly orange and look just like beetles! This is going to be a hit with the kids!

Ensifer orientalis dicotyledon beetle (green)

The luxurious green color is wonderful! It has a great sense of presence. I can feel the respect and love for dung beetles from ...... that they are so carefully made.

You can just look at the dung beetle figure, but you are definitely not allowed to do mischievous pranks such as leaving the droppings in a square or park and startling unrelated people ......!

Watermelon splitting mascot: 300 yen, J-dream, 5 kinds in total

How many memories did you leave behind this summer?

I saw fireworks for the first time in three years. I also went swimming and ate watermelon.

What about the watermelon splitting? What about watermelon splitting? I haven't done that for a long time. So let's experience it with capsule toys.

J.J. Capsule Toys" is a capsule toy company that turns everything you see into miniatures and mascots. J-dream" has created the magic of turning everything you see into miniatures and mascots. It's also neat that the lineup includes only a watermelon splitter.

There are five kinds? Let's begin our investigation!

Watermelon ball (stick)

This set includes a large watermelon (less than 3 cm in diameter), a square piece of wood, and a leisure sheet. All types come with a leisure sheet. The combination of the two is very clever. Is it a real pleasure for gacha fans to give a "tsk tsk" to this obsessive pursuit?

Speaking of which, the watermelon I was cooling in the irrigation canal was washed downstream when I took my eyes off it for a moment, and I had a hard time rescuing it. In the end, I lost the energy to split the watermelon, and we had to end the party .......

Watermelon ball (bat)

High school baseball bats? I remember the bat with the top half in black from Yankee high school.

Cracked watermelon red (stick)

The size of the watermelon is slightly different because it was broken. The length of the stick is about 5 cm. The stick fits tightly into the broken part of the watermelon, and if you catch the core and fit it in, you will feel good~! The reproducibility of the cracked feeling has reached the level of art.

Cracked Watermelon Red (Bat)

This is a bat version of the cracked watermelon. How about the outrageous act of putting a baseball bat on your forehead and spinning it around before splitting the watermelon, as people do at sports meets? The person who does this gets dizzy, but the people around him or her will get excited.

Cracking watermelon yellow

And what's in the lineup for the fifth event? I was surprised to see yellow watermelon! Although yellow watermelons have become quite popular, many people still find them unusual. I think it will be much more exciting if it appears in the watermelon splitting event. Especially if you decide not to tell anyone that it is "yellow inside" ....... Okay, let's give it a try next summer!

If you notice, the theme of this year's event is all about "balls! Well, it's a ball! Sorry ......!

So, I'm going to end this now. See you soon, Mata!
