The completely new novel "Demon's Crest" by Reki Kawahara, a novelist known for "Sword Art Online" and "Accel World," will be released on November 10, 2022 (Thursday).

A new "Reki Kawahara" project has finally begun!

In 2008, Reki Kawahara won the Grand Prize of the 15th Dengeki Novel Award for "Accel World.
The "Sword Art Online" series, which began publication in April 2009, has been highly popular since the first volume was released, and as of 2022, the total number of copies sold worldwide has exceeded 30 million. In addition, two movie versions of the series have been released.

Demon's Crest" is Reki Kawahara's first completely new novel as a commercial work.
The illustrations for this work are the same as those for the anime "K-ON! and Yukiko Horiguchi, who is in charge of character design for the theatrical anime "HELLO WORLD".

June 6, 2031.
The world's first full-dive VRMMO-RPG "Actual Magic (AM)" was held for test play.
Yuma Ashihara, a sixth grader at Yukibana Elementary School, was one of the AM test players.
He was amazed by the VR world of "Actual Magic" created by new technology, impressed by the fantasy field colored with exquisite reality, defeated dungeon bosses with his classmates in various occupations (classes), and reached the impressive ending with a grand fanfare.
