Fireworks went off at SSA at the end of summer! ──A look back report on "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY1, which ended in a great success! Part 2

The annual summer event "Animelo Summer Live" (Anisama) is here again this year! The world's largest anime song live event "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" (Anisama 2022) was held over three days on August 26 (Fri.), 27 (Sat.), and 28 (Sun.), 2022.

Akiba Research Institute will report on the three days of the event.

Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY1 Part 2

The second half of the first day featured a full set list of anime song artists. The top performer was CHiCO with HoneyWorks (nicknamed "Hani-wa"), who has many heart-warming songs that win the hearts of young people.

They sang their latest song "Himitsu Koi Gokoro" (OP of the second season of "Kanojo, Ouboushimasu") and their debut song "Sekai wa Koi ni Tsuiteiru" (OP of "Aoharide"). The appeal of Haniwa's lyrics are pure and emotional. Even the phrases of the instruments are thoroughly catchy. A refreshing stage unfolded, delivering the sweet and sour of youth and the sadness of love on the wind.

During the MC, CHiCO talked about her memories of attending Anisama in 2013, before her debut, and collaborated with Asakika, a fellow Anisama attendee and fellow gamer, to perform "Pride Revolution" ("Gintama" 2nd cool OP) with CHiCO with HoneyWorks and Asakika. The audience sang "Pride Kakumei" together with CHiCO with HoneyWorks and Asakana.

The audience jumped up and down again and again, shaking their red penlights in excitement.

Next up was Aimi, who has restarted her solo career and is carving out a new path as a voice artist with her partner on guitar! Although she had participated as a group before, this was her first solo performance at Anisama.

During "Kazania" ("Jisshishugi Yusha no Oukoku Kaikoku Fukkai Ki" ED) with its beautiful riff melody, there were many blue penlights to match the song, but in some places, some audience members were waving purple, her image color.

During the MC, she also revealed her surprising past as a dancer at Anisama, and recounted her journey from there to her current position as a solo artist after performing in all kinds of contents. After such an emo trajectory, I thought he was going to go on to "LIGHTS" (the ED of the second part of "Jisshishugi Yusha no Oukoku Kaikyobu Ki") in a cool way, but he went on to the second take of the song because the choreography did not go well.

However, the second time the song was performed in the style of a cool rocker, which drew laughter, and perhaps the character of "Aimi" was well expressed in the song. However, once the song started, she turned it on! She expressed the world of the song perfectly.

As a solo artist who writes many of her own lyrics and has many other appealing qualities, we look forward to seeing more of her work in the future.

In the first half, Nao Higashiyama sang "Growing," the pop-oriented ED theme for the TV anime "Yusha, Quit. The song "de messiah" was prepared as the ending for episode 8. The first half of the song was sung with her face obscured by a hood, and the second half was sung with dancers and a sharp dance performance, showing how Nao Higashiyama is capable of performing a club tune with English lyrics by TK (Rin to Shigure) so flawlessly!

I have thought she was amazing since her debut, but she is still amazing! I have thought she was amazing since her debut, but she is still amazing!

ASCA's powerful vocals echoed in the audience with the rock tune "CHAIN" (OP of the anime "Darwin's Game"), followed by the gothic worldview of "Kimi ga mita yume no monogatari" in a mysterious and bewitching manner. The violin and flute were also very impressive, and the song took many different turns, but one could not help but feel ASCA's vocal power, which was a firm guidepost at the center of the song.

In the end, she invited her best friend of 10 years, Konomi Suzuki, to join her, fulfilling a promise they made during their audition to sing together on the same stage. In what was no longer a singing violence, she sang "Bokutachi no Yukue" (OP of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY") with great intensity and passed the baton to Ms. Asakina.

Ms. Asaka's stage started with "Natsuyumu Noisy," the 2nd OP theme of "Summertime Renda," which has an interesting development where mystery leads to mystery.

After the intense and passionate vocal performance, she moved on to the refreshing "Ready Set Go! to the refreshing "Ready Set Go! The stage was transformed into a tropical atmosphere. The audience was filled with the desire to singalong in their arms, and Asaka responded to the audience's desire with her singing.

During the MC, Asaka expressed her passion for Anisama. This is something she says every time, but you could tell that she really loves Anisama. She ended her performance by singing "Sun Is Coming Up," the OP theme song for the movie "Yuru Can△," which is currently playing in theaters and has been a big hit, filling the venue with a happy atmosphere.

The audience was filled with a happy atmosphere! Sayoshi Oishi is an artist who always lives up to the audience's expectation of "I can't wait to hear that acoustic guitar intro! On this day, he sang "Kimi ja Dakidasama Dameseme" (OP of "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun"), a funky song that never fades away, accompanied by the groovy performance of the Anisama Band.

Both of them are also performing on the YouTube program "OISIMA SAYOSHI × SUZUKI Airi Anisong Kami Kyoku Kabarudemo de Show! (Oishi Masayoshi and Airi Suzuki, who both distribute the YouTube program "Oishi Masayoshi x Suzuki Airi: Anisong Kami no Kyoen De Sho! Watch from the side? theme song) in yukata.

The song was chosen because the theme of this year's Anisama was "youth," and the chic way the fireworks, a summer tradition that is still often cancelled, were shown on the big screen was very moving.

At this point, Mr. TRUE appeared on stage! Let's form an alliance!" So, instead of OxT (Oct), OxTRUE performed "UNION". With their powerful vocals, the audience felt as if they were accelerating into a higher gear toward the end of the song.

TRUE took the stage from here.

She performed "Happy Encounter" (OP of the TV anime "Riadeir no Daichi de") with violinist Ayasa. The stage was lively as the audience waved their hands left and right during the chorus and many dancers livened things up.

Then, the stage changed and the dancers calmly said, "Can I bump you up? and when the intro song started playing, the venue was filled with excitement. The song "Knight of the Flying Dragon" (OP of the TV anime "Saimu Mu'undei no Jinsou Kiki Ryu [Bahamut]") was sung passionately with flames. She then raised her voice to sing "Divine Spell" (OP of "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars"), followed by "UNISONIA" (OP of "Buddy Complex"), the introduction of which again brought the audience to their feet.

The audience could feel the footprints of her career as an anime song singer on the stage. The decision to perform powerful numbers between Oishi and Suzuki Konomi, who performed as the last performer of the night, was understandable.

After the audience had been enlivened, the baton was passed to Konomi Suzuki, who was to perform her first trio at Anisama.

The final stage started with a drum solo.

A large Anisama flag flew in the air as Konomi Suzuki appeared on stage. She sang "Theater of Life" (OP of "Decadence") powerfully and hard, and introduced the Anisama band members in the middle of the song.

She followed with a cool rendition of "Lights of Life" ("Deep Insanity the Lost Child" OP), and during the MC, she said with an emotional expression, "I debuted at the age of 15 and have lived my life as a singer with Anisama, and this is my 10th consecutive performance and my first as a trio member. Let's live together with this music so that we can reach a sparkling tomorrow with everyone, so that we can reach the future of Anisama. We will sing with all our might," he said, dropping two of his best songs in rapid succession.

The audience could not speak, but they clapped loudly in support. In response, Konomi Suzuki sang with all her heart and "all she had" in her voice.

The incredibly long tones of "This game" (OP of "No Game, No Life") and "DAYS of DASH" (OP of "Sakura-so no Pet na Kanojo"), in which she ran through the stage with all her might, showed all of Konomi Suzuki who has continued to evolve as an anime song singer. I believe that "DAYS of DASH" (OP of "Sakura-so no Pet na Kanojo" in the first half of the year) showed everything that Konomi Suzuki has evolved as an anime song singer. Her pure love for singing overflowed from her performance.

The outro of the song brought out all the artists who performed that day. At the end, everyone sang the theme song "Sparkle" with loud claps, and the baton was passed on to the second day of the festival.

The first half of the first day consisted of two parts, with the first half showing the excellence of the content and the possibilities of entertainment, including live performances, and the second half showing the bond between the anisong artists.

What was impressive was the feeling of "Let's bring back the fun of entertainment! I was impressed by the feeling of "Let's bring back the enjoyment of entertainment! This was encouraging. As long as the audience has this desire, I have a feeling that Anisama can reach a future that has yet to be seen.
