Berserk" is a dark fantasy work written by Kentaro Miura and serialized since 1989. The storyline is profound, the characters fascinating, the drawings overwhelmingly detailed, and the creativity unrivaled. As of June 2022, it has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide (paper + electronic).

Berserk" has been serialized in "Monthly Animal House" since 1989 and is currently serialized in "Young Animal" (both published by Hakusensha).
The manga is set in a "world of swords and sorcery" reminiscent of medieval Europe. It is a tower of dark fantasy that depicts a swordsman, Guts, who carries a sword "Dragon Koroshi," which is bigger than his own body, and burns for revenge through love and hate, using his superhuman strength as a weapon. It is a massive story, fascinating characters, overwhelmingly detailed drawings, and unrivaled creativity. The book has been published not only in Japan but also in other countries, attracting readers from all over the world.
In 2002, it won the 6th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize for Manga Excellence, and as of 2022, the series has sold a total of 50 million copies (paper + electronic) worldwide. Although there have been exhibitions of the anime version, original reproductions, and anniversary exhibitions of the magazines in which the manga appeared, this is the first exhibition of original artwork by a work or artist alone, and one that has been eagerly awaited by fans. It is no exaggeration to say that "Berserk" is one of Japan's greatest fantasy works. Please enjoy its overwhelming world.
