The first episode trailer, new PV, new cast, and theme song information for the fall 2022 anime "BLEACH: Millennium Blood War Arc" have all been released.

BLEACH" is a sword battle action series by Kubo Taito that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" until issue 38 in 2016, andhassold over 130 million copies.This "BLEACH: Millennium Blood War Arc" is the final chapter of the series.

Episode 1 Synopsis & Scene Cuts

The TV anime will finally start airing on TV Tokyo on October 10, 2022 (Monday). The synopsis of the first episode and preceding scene cuts have been released.

01 THE BLOOD WARFARE
The "Shikonkai" and the Technical Development Bureau are in an uproar when it is observed that emptiness is being extinguished one after another in this world.
At the same time, Ryunosuke Gyoki and Shino Ikarame, newly appointed Shinigami in charge, encounter Emptiness as soon as they arrive in Soraza-machi. The two were helpless in the face of the sudden attack, and it was Acting Shinigami Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends who rescued them.
The next day, a masked man appears before Ichigo and his friends as they interact with Ryunosuke, who has regained consciousness. Meanwhile, something strange is happening in the Corpse Realm...

In the PV released to the public, you can hear the voices of the characters from the Millennium Blood War Arc. It carefully depicts the beginning of the battle of the Knights of the Star Cross ......, who suddenly annihilate a large number of emptiness in this world and declare war on the 13th Squadron of the Protectorate, and fuels the anticipation for the broadcast that is about to begin.

The theme song and new cast members have also been determined. The opening theme is "Scar" by Kitanitatsuya, and the ending theme is "Saikatte" by SennaRin, produced by Hiroyuki Sawano.

New cast members include Wataru Hatano as Kajomaru Hidetomo, a Shinigami (god of death) belonging to the Thirteenth Squadron; Berenike Gabrieli as Kenn; Takahiro Fujiwara as Jerome Gizbat; and Wataru Komada as Azugiaro Eburne, a member of the Sternritter (Order of the Star-Cross) led by Juhabach, Ryuders Friegen will be played by Daiki Hamano.

As a fan of "BLEACH," I created the music that I wanted to hear in the final chapter of "BLEACH" and also as a music to look back on the path that I have taken, going back to the starting point. I am very proud that Mr. Kubo and everyone involved in the anime chose this song and that it will be a part of the "Sennen Kessen Hen" and I can say without hesitation, "I'm really glad to be alive...". All I can do now is wait for the broadcast as a fan.

When I was informed that the theme song had been chosen, I was of course enthusiastic about the decision, but I couldn't believe it right away and couldn't really feel it. The year that the serialization of "BLEACH" started was my birth year, and there was a character with the same name as mine, Akane Shizuku, in the movie version of the anime.

A singer born in the 21st century from Fukuoka, Japan, who has released cover videos on YouTube since she was a high school student, recording more than 55 million views.
Her distinctive bass tone and clear husky voice are appealing, and she is also a multi-talented songwriter and illustrator.
In April 2022, she made her major label debut with her first EP "Dignified," all songs of which were produced by Hiroyuki Sawano, a composer in charge of music for many popular anime productions.

In creating the ending theme for "BLEACH" this time, I was particularly conscious of the groove and the sense of sound. I arranged the song to create a strong contrast between the "stillness" of the first half and the "movement" of the second half, and also pursued an electronic sound to clearly emphasize the sound and rhythm. The lyrics and the music were written by SennaRin.
SennaRin's lyrics and vocal approach helped to emphasize these elements and expand the worldview.
The link between the new "BLEACH" and SennaRin's new performance challenge with this song made for a very meaningful musical production.
I hope you enjoy the ending song "Saikatachi" along with the world of the work.

<Story
Coincidence or inevitability?

Ichigo Kurosaki, who became an "Acting Shinigami" after acquiring the power of a Shinigami through a chance encounter, has been involved in the upheaval of the Soul Society, a place where the souls of those who have died in this world gather, and has grown up together with his friends in the midst of fierce battles.
Then something strange happens in Karakura-cho, where Ichigo lives. A new Shinigami and a new enemy appear. And there are voices calling for help. Ichigo picks up his zanpakuto again and sets off for the battlefield.

BLEACH" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and has sold over 120 million copies in total, boasting strong popularity around the world even after its conclusion.

The TV anime began broadcasting in October 2004,
More than 360 episodes have been produced so far, and four feature-length animated films have been produced.
Finally, the curtain rises on the final chapter of the series, "Sennen Kessen Hen," an anime project.

The series is directed and composed by Tomohisa Taguchi, who has demonstrated his outstanding visual sense in numerous works.
Character designer Masashi Kudo and music composer Shiro Sagisu are original members who have supported the "BLEACH" anime series since its inception.
The animation production will be handled by studio Piero, as in the past series.
