A trailer with the OP theme has been released for the second season of the fall 2022 anime "SPY x FAMILY," which will begin airing on October 1 (Sat.).

SPY x FAMILY," a home comedy x action series about a "temporary family" of Lloyd, Yol, and Anya who hide their true identities and live together, will be serialized by Tatsuya Endo in "Shonen Jump +" from 2019. It has won numerous manga awards, and a TV anime produced by WIT STUDIO x CloverWorks has been broadcast since April 2022.

The second season of the TV anime will finally start airing from October 1 on Saturdays from 23:00 on TV Tokyo's 6 stations network and others. It was announced that the opening theme song will be "SOUVENIR" by BUMP OF CHICKEN.

A trailer featuring the theme song has also been released. A bomb attack is planned to put an end to the cold war between the neighboring East and West countries. In order to prevent this from happening, Lloyd, Sylvia, and other WISE agents track down the terrorists.

The video is filled with comical elements of the "SPY x FAMILY" characters in a serious development.

──How did you feel when it was decided that you would be in charge of the opening theme song?
All of the members enjoyed reading this work, so we were very honored when we received the offer.
I watched the first episode of the anime every week, and my heart was filled with anticipation for the second episode, but at the same time, I was determined to do my best for the theme song.

───What were your impressions of the original manga "SPY×FAMILY"?
The setting is almost completely different from the world we live in, but there are many points where we can relate to the feelings of the various characters living in that world, and I was made to laugh and cry many times.
The Forger family is very charming, and I was frequently moved to tears by each of their attitudes toward their fake family.
This is a family I want to watch forever.
I can only wonder what will happen next.

─ ─ Please tell us about the title of the song and the feelings you put into it.
I wrote the song by comparing the feelings I have for the listeners I meet at live venues to a road leading to an important place.

─ ─ Please give a message to those who are looking forward to the anime.
I can't wait for the second course, and I hope to watch the activities of the Forger family together with you all.
