Masterpiece RPG "Gensou Suikoden I & II" revived in HD remaster! All characters are newly drawn! Genso Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: The Crest War of the Gates / The Dunant Unification War" to be released in 2023!

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that "Gensou Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Mon War of the Gates / Dunan Unification War" will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Gensou Suikoden" was released on PlayStation in 1995 and is the first title in KONAMI's iconic original RPG series. Based on the motif of the Chinese "Suikoden," the game tells the story of a hero who gathers "108 friends" and fights against the oppressive rule of a raging empire.

In 1998, "Gensou Suikoden II" was released, in which three childhood friends are tossed about by the whirlpool of fate. The unique system of "crests," "108 friends," "wars," and "strongholds," which was well received in the previous title, was further developed, and the detailed psychological portrayal of each character was also very moving.

This "GENSOU SUIKODEN I & II HD Remaster: The Crest War of the Gates / The Dunan Unification War" retains the worldview and story of the two games, while remastering the graphics, sound, and game system in HD. All characters have been newly drawn.
