Unexpected collaboration anime of "Lupin the Third" and "Cat's Eye" will be produced! PV and comments from Tsukasa Hojo and Kanichi Kurita have arrived!

A collaboration anime work between "Lupin the Third" and "Cat's Eye" will be distributed on Prime Video. A teaser visual, PV, and comments have been released.

Lupin the Third" is an action anime created by Monkey Punch, featuring Lupin the Third, the grandson of the world's greatest thief Arsene Lupin, and his friends Daimon Dime, Gomon Ishikawa, Fujiko Mine, and his arch enemy, Inspector Zenigata. The anime "Cat's Eye," the first series written by Tsukasa Hojo, is a love-comedy anime about three beautiful sisters, one of whom is a thief, and the other of whom is a coffee shop owner, and the "Cat's Eyes," who dance the night away and cause a commotion.

TMS Entertainment has decided to produce an Amazon Original "Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye" based on these two works!

This special film will mark the 50th anniversary of the "Lupin III" anime adaptation and the 40th anniversary of the "Cat's Eye" original story, which will be the last of the anniversary years for both works.

The reason why Lupin's jacket is pink is because "Cat's Eye" was set in the 80's and this film also features that time period, so we decided to make the jacket pink because we felt that "pink is associated with Lupin in the 80's.
