Sengoku survival action game "Onimusha" to be adapted to anime for the first time on Netflix series! General director is Takashi Miike, and the model for the main character, Musashi Miyamoto, is Toshiro Mifune!

Twenty-one years after its release, the first animated adaptation of "Onimusha," Capcom's classic warring states survival action game, has been announced.

Takashi Miike, who wowed moviegoers with his innovative use of sword fighting in "13 Assassins" and "Infinite Dweller," will serve as general director of the film. He will be teaming up with director Shinya Sugai, who worked on the CG animation "Dragon's Dogma," and the studio Sublimation.

Speaking of Onimusha, the game has also been known to use real-life actors as character models, such as Takeshi Kaneshiro, Yusaku Matsuda, and Jean Reno for the historical figures in the game.
In the anime "Onimusha," the main character is Musashi Miyamoto. And the model is that Toshiro Mifune. In the early Edo period, Musashi, whose youth is fading, borrows the legendary "Oni no Kagome" and sets out on a journey to defeat a phantom demon.
