The 60th All Japan Model Hobby Show was held at Ariake Big Sight, South Halls 1 and 2, Tokyo, from September 30 (Friday) to October 2 (Sunday), 2022.

This was the first time in three years that the show was held, after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Corona disaster. Various hobby manufacturers exhibited a large number of new products at the show, and the three days were a great success.
Akiba Research Institute will introduce some of the items on display, focusing on new products and first-time exhibitors.

At the Namco Bandai booth, many new standard Gundam plastic model kits were exhibited. From MS that appeared in the anime to MS that appeared in games and comics, the lineup was typical of the "Gundam" series, which has developed in a variety of media.

Of note were the "MGEX" Strike Freedom Gundam, a high-end MG (Master Grade) brand, and the new "MGSD" Freedom Gundam, an SD brand.
Both were of surprising quality, as if they were high-end Gundam plastic models!
They attracted a lot of attention from visitors.
