The first episode trailer and introduction movie of thefall 2022 anime"Blue Rock" have been released.

Based on a soccer manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (original story by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, manga by Yusuke Nomura), it won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Juvenile Division. It depicts high school students fighting for survival in the Blue Rock (blue prison) project to create "egoists" who will become the world's best strikers. The cast is made up of a splendid voice cast including Kazuki Ura, Teijo Matsuoka, and Hiroshi Kamiya, and animation production is handled by Eight Bit.

The TV anime will finally start airing on October 8 (Sat.) at 1:30 pm on TV Asahi's nationwide network "NUMAnimation slot". The synopsis of the first episode and advance scene cuts have been released.

The synopsis and advance cuts of the first episode are as follows.
Episode 1 "Dream
The prefectural final of the national high school soccer championship. Seiichi Jie, a second-year high school forward,is thrown off the road to the national tournament when he makes a pass to his teammate in front of the goal.
He receives an invitation to the "Blue Rock" (blue prison). The Blue Rock is a facility where, in order for Japan to win the World Cup, an egoist is selected from among 300 high school forwards to become the "world's best striker".
The group is gathered in a small room without knowing what to expect, and they are challenged to an entrance test to determine one out of twelve who will be eliminated from the team.
