A shy girl hero! SHY" TV anime adaptation and teaser PV released! Directed by Masaomi Ando of "Kuzu no Honkai

A TV anime adaptation of the manga "SHY" (Shy), which is popular overseas as well, has been announced.

Based on a hero comic series in "Weekly Shonen Champion" by Bukimi Jitsuki. It depicts a shy girl hero, "Shy," who grows up through bonds with her friends and battles, and is gaining popularity in Europe and other countries as well.

The long-awaited TV anime adaptation of "SHY" has been decided. The main character, Shai/Momihayama Teru, will be played by Shimoji Shino and directed by Masano Ando, who also directed "Kuzu no Honkai" and "Gakkou Gurashi! etc., and animation production will be handled by Eight Bit.

The teaser visual released to the public shows the main character "Shy," a hero representing Japan, and a high school student named Teru Momijiyama, who is transformed into Shy. What kind of drama awaits her?

In the teaser PV, the transformation from the panel drawings of the original comic to animation is depicted along with the dialogue of Shai, played by Shino Shimoji.
