The first episode of thefall 2022 anime"Urusei Yatsura" has been released with a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

Rumiko Takahashi's debut work "Urusei Yatsura" is a love comedy between Ataru Moroboshi (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya), the "most dangerous" high school student on earth, and Ram (CV: Sumire Uesaka), a "demon girl" who came down from space. This is a love comedy. This work is a completely new anime adaptation with a four-cour run. Directed by Hideya Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind" and animated by david production, which also produced "Flames of Fire".

Moroboshi Ataru, a simple-minded high school student, is chosen to play tag with Ram, the daughter of a demon tribe that has come to invade the earth, with the fate of the earth at stake. When her childhood friend Shinobu Miyake tells her, "If you win, I'll marry you," she is inspired to chase after Ram.
In the end, he is doomed.
Ataru is fed up with having his phone calls with Shinobu interrupted by Ram every day. They are unable to make phone calls due to the jamming radio waves that Ram emits from his spaceship to the earth, but they get excited and arrange to meet in person.

Naoyuki Asano of "Osomatsu-san" and "Don't mess with the Visual Effects Laboratory," and david production of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" series and "Flames of Fire" are in charge of animation production. Hiroshi Kamiya and Sumire Uesaka will play the hero, Ataru Moroboshi, aka "Darling," and the heroine, Ram, a couple of rare beauty.
