Reservations for "Detective Conan Osechi" will open on October 11, 2022. The contents of the set have been revealed.

The "Detective Conan Osechi" was developed in cooperation with the Shonen Sunday Premium Shop and was very popular last year, and this year it is even more powerful! It also comes with a New Year's greeting card from the original author, Gosho Aoyama.

From the character-inspired stacked boxes and containers, to the variety of dishes with motifs of popular characters, to the festive chopsticks and table runner included, this Osechi is a must-have for "Detective Conan" fans.

The set includes

Ojyu (Ojyu-ju)
The lid of the oju is an original design featuring Conan, Ran Mouri, Ai Haibara, Shuichi Akai, Toru Amuro, and others. The stacked boxes are a perfect match between the traditional Japanese New Year's pattern and the illustrations of the characters.

Tenugui Hand Towel
A tenugui hand towel with a mini illustration of Conan, familiar from the illustrations on the spine of the comic books. It can be used as a table runner to put the stacked boxes on, or as a tenugui (hand towel).

Celebratory chopsticks and utensils
Three sets of festive chopsticks with illustrations of Conan are included.
Some of the dishes on the second course come in a bowl with icons of Heiji Hattori, Subaru Okiya, Jin, Phantom Thief Kid, and Gosho Aoyama on the lid.

Ichi no Ju-jyu (18 items)
The first layer includes the standard menu of a traditional New Year's gift, and is wrapped with motifs of Conan, Toru Amuro, and Shuichi Akai.
The first layer features a traditional Seasonal New Year's menu, with traditional offerings such as fish paste in the shape of Conan's red bow-tie voice transmitter, fish paste in the shape of APTX (apotoxin) 4869, eel Yanagawa-style shinjo inspired by Genta Kojima's favorite food, unaju (eel), squid koganeyaki inspired by Toru Adachi's hair color, datemaki inspired by the Police Academy team that played a prominent role in the movie version this year, and a cherry blossom-shaped agar-agar (agar-agar). The Datemaki, inspired by this year's movie version of the Police Academy, is served with a cherry blossom-shaped agar-agar.

Ni-no-jyu (10 items)
The Ni-no-jyu, filled with a Western-style menu, consists of a total of 10 items that will surprise, discover, and excite you, using ingredients and colors that reflect the world of the Conan story and characters.

The beef stew, a specialty of Subaru Okiya, and the shrimp mayo salad with a secret ingredient of "gin" from the black-clad organization, are just a few of the dishes that Ran, who is an expert cook, loves to serve. The dish is a duck stew in red wine, which Ran, who is an excellent cook, is sure to make for Kogoro, who loves to drink, and a shortcake inspired by the wedding cake of Detective Takagi and Detective Sato. And sausages from Oyama Ham in Tottori Prefecture, the hometown of the original author, Gosho Aoyama, and other Western-style delicacies were on display.

Enjoy guessing the story of the encounter between the ingredients and the characters, just as Conan solves mysteries.
