Sakura Ando as Merrill Strife

--What was your impression when you were chosen to play the role of Meryl Strife? Also, please tell us your impression of the character you are playing, its charm, and what parts of the character were important to you in your performance.

Ando: I am trembling with joy to be able to be involved in a work that so many people love and long for. When I heard from the office that I had been chosen to play the role, I was in a state of shock for a while.
She is very honest, emotional, and straight-forward...she just says what she thinks. Her immaturity sometimes makes us feel surprised.
But there is something endearing about her, and the director told me to make her relatable and cute! The director also told me to make her relatable and cute.
I was trying to see if Meryl's values and sense of justice would change or become stronger as she came into contact with Vash and various other people... I tried to stay close to her emotional turmoil.

Ando: Hi everyone! I'm sure you were very surprised to hear about the new "TRIGUN"! Me too! I can't wait to meet the new and familiar members of TRIGUN! I can't stop being excited.
I am sure that those who are new to the exciting world of "TRIGUN" will also enjoy it. Please look forward to it!

Kenji Matsuda as Roberto De Niro

--How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of Roberto De Niro in "TRIGUN"? Also, what was your impression of the character you are playing, its charm, and what parts of the character were important for you to play?

Matsuda: It had been several months since I had auditioned for the role, and I had long since given up on it, but I remember receiving the call that I had been chosen. I was excited to be in a position where I could immerse myself in the story, and I was determined to be the best geek I could be. Roberto is a character like Han Solo from Star Wars, but as a no-good, drunk uncle. I took the liberty of interpreting Roberto's character as the world of Trigun itself, and played him.

--The new "TRIGUN" anime "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" will be the new "TRIGUN". Please give a message to the fans who are looking forward to it.

Matsuda: Please witness the new legend.
I hope you will travel with Vash through the world of "TRIGUN STAMPEDE".

Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood

--How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of Nicholas D. Wolfwood? Also, please tell us your impression of the character, its charm, and what parts of the character were important for you to play.

Hosoya: "TRIGUN" was a work that was recommended to me by a friend when I was a student, so it was a very strange feeling.
Before the recording, I received a memo like instruction from Kenji Muto, the director of this film, in which he wrote down many of his images and hopes for Nicholas, and I felt that it was a great thought.
I am aware that I am the type of performer who is hard to understand, so I think I was thinking about many things when I entered the studio for the first recording.
I felt while dubbing that Nicholas is a character with a lot of director Muto's attention and thoughts.

--I felt that Nicholas was a character with a lot of care and thought that director Muto had put into him while recording. Please give a message to the fans who are looking forward to it.

Hosoya: "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" is an original new work, so I think it will convey a fresh feeling even to those who know "TRIGUN".
I believe that the finished image is one that will expand the possibilities of animation works to a greater extent.
We hope you will enjoy the view of the world that has been made more detailed with new technology and expression methods!
