■Episode 5 "Kyouka no Himitsu/Feast of Flesh"
Kikuru and his friends are training for battle on the Aoba Plains. Kikuru desperately tries to stop Hanabata, who tries to invoke his madness when he is outnumbered. In fact, Kikuru's true training goal is to get Hanabata to stop his uncontrollable frenzy.
After achieving some success, Kikuru and his team take a break. Kikuru gives Hanabata a mana bottle (a medicine to restore his magical power) to rehydrate him...
