The hit character "Tama" from "Tama & Friends: Uchino Tama Shiranai ka? ～The hit character "Tama" from "Tama & Friends" debuted in 1983, and was personified in the TV anime "Uchi Tama? ~ Uchitama no Tama Shiranai ka? ～!".

The animation is directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda, director of "Gekkegurui-xxx" and the series is composed by "Crayon Shin-chan Bakumori: The Movie! Kung Fu Boys: Ramen Daeran", character design by Mai Otsuka of the "Non no Biyori" series, music by Tom-H@ck of the "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" series, and animation production by MAPPA/Lapin Truck of "Sarazanmai". The main character Tama is played by Souma Saito, Tama's best friend Pochi is played by Kensho Ono, and the idol Momo of 3-Chome is played by Kana Hanazawa.
