The title and storyline of the sequel to the live-action film "Tokyo Revengers" have been announced.

The "Tokyo Manji Revengers" TV anime adaptation was released in April 2021 and has been trending, ranking 4th on the "Internet Buzzword 100," and the TV anime version of "Tokyo Manji Revengers" will begin airing in January 2023.

The live-action movie, released in July 2021, gathered an impeccable cast in terms of popularity and ability, including Shomi Kitamura, Yuki Yamada, Harusuke Sugino, and Ryo Yoshizawa. With a final box-office revenue of 4.5 billion yen and an audience of 3.35 million, it was the No. 1 live-action film for theaters in 2021.

As soon as the live-action sequel was announced in late July this year, social networking sites were abuzz with excitement. Words such as "Takemichi" and "Mikey" started trending, followed by "Blood Hallow coming! Will Chifuyu and Jaji be in it? and "Will Chifuyu and Jaji-san be in it?

Today, it was announced that the long-awaited sequel to the live-action movie "Tokyo Revengers" will be a two-part movie, the first part being a "Bloody Halloween" version. It will be based on the popular "Bloody Halloween" episode, which corresponds to volumes 4-8 of the original film.


Hinata is killed again in front of Takemichi's eyes by the Tokyo Manjikai, which has turned vicious. Takemichi returns to the past and uncovers a "sad incident" that tears the six members of To Manjikai apart, which is the key to saving Hinata. Will Takemichi be able to save Hinata and the future of East Manji?


The title of the two-part film is divided into "Fate" and "Decisive Battle. The first part, "Tokyo Revengers 2: Halloween in Blood -Fate-" is scheduled to be released in Golden Week 2023, and the second part, "Tokyo Revengers 2: Halloween in Blood -Decisive Battle-" in the summer of 2023.
