To commemorate the broadcast of the TV anime "Urusei Yatsura," "Urusei Yatsura Cafe" will open for a limited time in four cities in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Miyagi) from December 8, 2022 (Thursday).

Urusei Yatsura" is a Japanese manga series by Rumiko Takahashi, serialized in Weekly Sunday from 1978 to 1987. It was adapted into an animated TV series in 1981, and the novelty of the content and fascinating characters received overwhelming support and became a huge boom at the time.

To commemorate the broadcast of the completely new TV anime "Urusei Yatsura," "Urusei Yatsura Café" will open in four cities in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Miyagi) from December 8, 2022 (Thursday) for a limited time.

In the newly-drawn illustration of the cafe, six main characters including Ataru Moroboshi, Ram, and Ten-chan appear.

The café menu includes food items inspired by the main characters such as Ataru, Ram, and Ten-chan, as well as pancakes that recreate the scene where Ram blasts Ataru, parfaits that recreate the scene where Shinobu Miyake throws a desk (cake) at Ataru, and various other items to fully enjoy the world view of "Urusei Yatsura". The restaurant will also feature a special project, "Design Coco", which will be on display at the store.

In addition, a life-size figure of Ram & Ten-chan, produced by Design Coco (*2), will be on display as a special event. They will appear at the Urusei Yatsura Café as a photo spot where you can take pictures at each venue.
