Information on the preliminary distribution of the newly edited version of the first TV anime season of "Re:Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" is now available! Snow sculptures will be exhibited at "Sapporo Snow Festival"!

The TV anime "Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" that aired in 2016 will be broadcast as a new one-hour program, and it was also announced that the long-awaited second season will begin airing in April 2020.

Re: Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" is an anime work based on a light novel by Tatsuhei Nagatsuki. It is a fantasy about an ordinary high school student who wanders into another world on his way home from a convenience store and ends up helping a girl find what she is looking for as a thank you for saving him in the other world. Directed by Masahiro Watanabe, series composition by Masahiro Yokoya, character design and chief animation director by Kyuta Sakai, and animation production by WHITE FOX.
Following the popularity of the TV anime that aired from April to September 2016, production of a new episode OVA was decided in September 2017; in October 2018, "Re:Zero Kara Kara Hajimari Isekai Seikatsu Memory Snow" and the second new episode OVA "Hyoketsu no Kizuna" will begin on November 8, 2019 (Friday). Theatrical screenings began on Friday, November 8, 2019.

The newly edited first season of "Re:Zero kara Hajimari no Isekai Seikatsu" which will start airing on January 1, 2020 (Wed.) will be distributed on AbemaTV and dAnime Store, so if you want to enjoy Re:Zero as soon as possible, please use the distribution.

Other distribution sites are also planning to distribute the new version, so please stay tuned for more information.

In addition, a snow sculpture of Rizero will be on display at the 71st Sapporo Snow Festival, which will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido from February 4 (Tue.) to 11 (Tue.), 2020.
This will be a collaborative snow sculpture of Snow Miku and "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Hyoketsu no Kizuna," which is currently in theaters nationwide. Details will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned for more information.
