A popular manga, "A transfer student who doesn't know the situation is giggling." will be adapted into a TV anime in 2023.

The original story is serialized by Taku Kawamura in the monthly magazine "Gungan JOKER. It is a heartwarming story in which Nishimura is teased by his classmates who call him "Shinigami," and a transfer student, Takada, who is unaware of his situation, honestly expresses his feelings for him without worrying about others.

The teaser visual for the TV anime depicts a heartwarming scene in which the chic and honest Takada-kun innocently pulls his hand away, and Nishimura-san looks thrilled and happy.

A teaser PV was also released in which Mr. Takada is genuinely envious of Ms. Nishimura, who is called "Shinigami" by her classmates, and thinks she is "cool.

The cast will be Yoshimi Obara playing Akane Nishimura and Shizuka Ishigami playing Taiyo Takada. Their motivating comments have also arrived.

I am very happy to see such a boy who is so purely aggressive, but Nishimura-san is in a lot of trouble! I was also very excited and nervous, and I felt a bit nervous. The characters in the book are lively and cute, and I like all of them. I am more interested in the progress of Takada-kun and Nishimura-san than anything else...lol.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Akane looks like a girl with glazed-over eyes and is kept at a distance from everyone. I thought a lot about it when playing her, but she is just a normal girl. So I played her while hoping to be honest and close to her heart. I hope that I can walk with Akane in the everyday life that everyone has experienced, such as making friends, meeting cute cats, and so on.

Taiyo Takada (CV: Shizuka Ishigami)
An honest and energetic boy who transferred to Ms. Nishimura's elementary school.
He has a bit of a chuunibyou sense and wants to be friends with Mr. Nishimura, who calls him "Shinigami" (God of Death).

Q1: What is your impression of this work?
I have known about this work since it was first serialized. At first I thought it was a romantic comedy between a quiet girl and a cheerful boy. I love that kind of thing! But there were many scenes that made me think about Nishimura-san, school, family, and so on.
There are some scenes that are quite heartbreaking to read, but I was relieved to find that they were turned into something positive with Takada-kun as the main character.
Takada-kun, thank you so much for transferring to my school! I love this work.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Takada-kun is a very aggressive and energetic person. He is energetic and cheerful and fits the name "Taiyo" perfectly!
I hope they will make an anime version of the series. If I had the chance to audition for the role, I would definitely like to play Takada-kun! I am really, really happy because I have been thinking that I would definitely like to play Takada-kun if I had the chance to audition!
