Sega today released the "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Special Price" package version for PS5/PS4/Nintendo Switch. The downloadable version (Xbox Series X｜S/Xbox One/Steam) will also have a new price.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, a dream collaboration title combining the action puzzle games "Puyo Puyo" and "Tetris," is newly released at an affordable price of 3,850 yen (including tax)!

The game includes numerous elements such as "Skill Battle," in which players battle against each other using character-specific skills, and "Adventure," in which players can enjoy a story featuring a mysterious girl named Marle. In addition to standard modes such as "Lesson," which is safe even for beginners, players can enjoy cooperative and competitive play with up to four other players online.

Skill Battle" where players compete against each other using their character's unique skills
Skill Battle" allows players to form teams of three characters and use the skills of each character to turn the tables. The "Skill Battle" allows players to strengthen their teams by collecting item cards and playing "Puyo Puyo" or "Tetris" against each other.

An "HP" gauge has been added, so even if a Puyo Puyo fills to the top, the game can continue as long as there is HP left.

Included are the classic modes such as "VS," "Swap," "Big Bang," "Party," "Puyotetomix," and "Tokoton.

Free Update Adds New Characters and Modes
A free update is currently being distributed, adding 12 characters from the Sonic series, including "Sonic" and "Raphisol," 11 BGM tracks, an Internet mode called "Minna de Boss Battle," a "Kan Sen" function, "Tokoton" rules for battles, and a "Color Chosei" mode that supports color vision diversity. The game will also include a "Color Chosei" mode to accommodate color vision diversity.
