In this first installment of our commemorative series, we visited TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO (Soul Store), located next to Akihabara Station, the heart of Akiba.

TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO is the world's only flagship store directly operated by Soul Nations, which reopened on June 23, 2022 on the site of the former "Gundam Café TOKYO BRAND CORE" on a site three times larger than the former store. The flagship store is the only one of its kind in the world and is directly managed by Soul Nations. The store offers a wide range of products, from existing products such as ROBOT Soul, S.H.Figuarts, and Chogokin, which are distributed to the general public, to Soul Store exclusive products that can only be purchased here.

Upon entering the entrance, you will be greeted by Mazinger Z, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The figure is not only large in size, but its elaborate construction is also very powerful.

Next to it, products commemorating the 50th anniversary and Mazinger-related products are displayed.

Not only products related to the latest anime, but also various products from nostalgic anime, special effects, and movies that have been sculpted with the latest technology are on display.

The life-size reproduction of the "Saint Seiya" Golden Cloak is also a highlight!

The "Saint Cloth Mythology" series sold at the store allows visitors to detach the holy robe from the figure and freely reconfigure it into object form.

The store section has a full lineup of items, and sometimes general distribution items that are sold out at regular stores are sold by lottery. If you really want to get the item you want, why not take a last chance here?

Products with a "gold" price card are only available at the Soul Store, so this is the only place you can buy them in real stores!

From November 18 (Fri.), you can also find announcements about TAMASHII NATION 2022, which will be held at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO and Bellesalle Akihabara, and get a first look at the products that will be sold exclusively at the event.

The store is also filled with attractions such as autographs of celebrities who have been involved with figures and anime or appeared at store events.

At the time of the interview, there was a special display of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury," which began airing on October 2. The store also has a full lineup of event exhibitions, and there are always plans to hold some kind of special exhibition, except during the period when the exhibits are being replaced.
