Aniplex x Kayak announces production of a completely original new game app "Cross x Logos"! Scheduled to be distributed in Fall 2019

Production of the completely original new game app "Cross x Logos(TM)" (genre: word battle RPG) for smartphones and acceptance of pre-registration campaign has started.

Aniplex and Kayaku have decided to distribute "Cross X Logos(TM)", the first game app created in collaboration between the two companies, and have started accepting applications for an advance registration campaign.

Director Hiroyuki Goto, known as the creator of hit games such as "Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan" and "Adventure Quiz Kingdom," will be working on a new word puzzle game, which is a collaboration with producer Takehiro Ando, who has worked on numerous popular games at Square Enix and is the president of Sisirara, Inc. The game has evolved into a full-fledged RPG with the strong tag team of producer Takehiro Ando, who has worked on a number of popular games for Square Enix and serves as president of Sisirara Co. The story of "Cross X Logos" begins in a dramatic world created by a team of gorgeous creators, including scenario writer Kakeru Toranori, character designer Taiki, and music composer Shota Kageyama.

The story takes place in "Philosophia Tower," a mysterious tower made of books. The player, chosen as the librarian, searches for the truth behind the mysteries of the world. Set out on an exciting journey of adventure, where encounters with a variety of characters await.

The game is currently under development for a service launch in the fall of 2019.

This is a crossword puzzle, a quiz, and an RPG.
The game offers heated battles in which a little verbal "inspiration" can lead to a series of major upsets.

Director: Hiroyuki Goto
In 1995, while a student at Keio University, he set a new world record (at that time) of 42,195 digits in pi recitation. In 1999, he joined Namco, Inc. (currently Namco Bandai Games Inc.), where he developed the popular game series "Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan" as a game creator. Since 2011, he has been with Kayac, an interesting corporation. He has made numerous media appearances.

The player can attack the opponent by placing letter blocks in the squares of the board and forming words vertically and horizontally. The winner is the first player to reduce his or her HP to zero. The more words you chain together, the more powerful your attack will be!
The game is easy to play, but requires a great deal of inspiration to create words freely.
The "power of words" you have cultivated over the years becomes your weapon of choice.
Symbols, the characters that both players battle, have special moves that can be used by satisfying charge conditions. The special moves are triggered by creating the correct words in the quiz-style puzzles!

The game is equipped with more than 100,000 dictionary entries from "Kojien 7th Edition" (Iwanami Shoten), and also includes a wide range of new words and trendy words. More words will be added in the future.

Theme song will be "voyage" by Eir Aoi

Eir Aoi, who has worked on numerous tie-ups with anime and game titles such as "Fate/Zero" and "Sword Art Online," will sing the theme song for this title. The song will be a highly anticipated song that will cross the world of "Cross x Logos" with the "words" created by her versatile expressive ability.
