P.A.WORKS original anime "Buddy Daddies" to start airing in January 2023! The advance screening will also be held!

P.A.WORKS' new anime "Buddy Daddies," which will begin airing in January 2023, has revealed its first key visual and first PV. The first key visual and the first PV were also announced.

P.A.WORKS, which has produced numerous work animations such as "SHIROBAKO" and "Hanasaku Iroha," will present a new original TV animation "Buddy Daddies," which will start airing in January 2023.

Directed by Yoshiyuki Asai, who has worked with P.A.WORKS on a number of productions, the story is written by Bio Shimokura of Nitroplus, and the series composition is by Yuko Kakihara.

The character design is by Enami Katsumi of "Baccano! and music by Katsumi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE).

As previously announced, Toshiyuki Toyonaga and Koki Uchiyama play "buddies," two assassins: Toshiyuki Toyonaga's Ikki Kurusu is a "man who has run away from love," and Koki Uchiyama's Zero Suwa is a "man who does not know love. Mr. Toshiyuki Toyonaga plays Ikki Kurusu, "a man who ran away from love" and Mr. Zero Suwa, played by Mr. Koki Uchiyama, "a man who does not know love.

The first key visual and the first PV using footage from the full-length anime have been released. In addition, information on broadcasting stations and additional staff members were also announced.

Struggles of raising a child by a hitman buddy!
They will not let their intended target escape.
These two male assassin buddies are forced to take in a 4-year-old girl.
What newly started is a family life with two hot and cool guys and a naive girl.
Even the two men, who can handle any job, struggle with one daughter. They are in a great hurry to take care of meals, play with her, and take her to and from preschool. Even so, they cannot refuse work requests.
What's more, the girl is the illegitimate daughter of a nefarious mafia boss whom they have just killed...!
Is it really possible to balance work and childcare?
And will the temporary family find happiness?

P.A.WORKS, which has produced many original animations, and Nitroplus, which is known for its well-thought-out scenarios, have teamed up to produce this new original animation. A painful action and home comedy!

Kurusu Kazuki CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga
Age: 28 years old
Occupation: Assassin
He lives with his colleague and buddy Zero, and takes care of his personal needs.
His work with Zero is mainly divided between contracting, gathering information in advance, and making execution plans.
He has good communication skills and likes women and gambling.
He is good at cooking and cleaning, and occasionally scolds Zero for his self-indulgent lifestyle.
He was married in the past and had a wife who was pregnant with his child, but she died because of his underhanded work.

Suwa Zero CV: Koki Uchiyama
Age: 25 years old
Occupation: Hit man
He is a man of few words and usually does not care that Ikki has moved into his house.
He has high physical ability, and his fighting techniques and shooting level are among the best in the industry.
　He has a strong difference between "on" (work) and "off" (private life), and at home he stays indoors and plays games all the time.
His family is a huge underworld family, and his parents have trained him as a gifted assassin since he was a child. He has not been able to escape from the family feud and does not understand normal parent-child relationships.

Miri Unasaka CV: Hina Kino
Age: 4 years old
Miri is an energetic, innocent girl who is not afraid of anything.
Her father is a big broker for a human trafficking organization and a mafia boss. Her mother is the boss's mistress.
When she comes to the hotel looking for her father, she gets caught in a gunfight and is rescued by Ikki.
She is friendly and calls Ikki "Ikki Papa" and Zero "Zero Papa.
