An autumn lighting event "Kanda Myojin Autumn Lighting Project - Myojin Ginkgo" will be held in the precincts of Kanda Myojin from November 25 to December 10!

An autumn light-up event "Kanda Myojin Autumn Light-up Project - Myojin Ginkgo" is scheduled to be held in the precincts of Kanda Myojin from November 25 to December 10, 2012. Admission is free.

Kanda Myojin has been familiar to people for 1,300 years, weaving through the months and days. Kanda Myojin is also a hidden place in Tokyo famous for its autumn foliage, and this autumn-only event is held with the hope that visitors will pray at Kanda Myojin, one of the most powerful spots in Tokyo, to close out the year as the season of the New Year approaches. Following the success of the "Myojin Cherry Blossom Light-up Project," which was held from March 26 (Sat) to April 10 (Sun), 2022, the precincts of Kanda Myojin will be illuminated in the deepening autumn with the sacred trees "O-Ginko" and "Zelkova" decorating the precincts of the shrine.

The lighting will be performed in cooperation with NAKED, INC, a creative company that has lit up Nijo Castle and many other famous places in Japan, to give the sacred trees more life through light and sound.
