People thrive in a world where "Giant Beasts" are prevalent. The story begins when "Jiro, a mortal," meets "Kuumi, the twenty-second one," who is being chased by something, and the story begins to move.

The main staff consists of director Akira Oglo, character designer Asito Oyari, series composition and screenplay by Norimitsu Kaiho, character designers Hiroshi Shimizu and Masato Kato, music by Shushi Katayama and Akiya Suzuki, and animation production by Asahi Productions.
