Komodo, a licensing partner with Valve Coporation and provider of the Steam Deck in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan, announced that the first Steam Deck units will begin shipping in these regions on December 17, 2022. In addition, pre-orders for the Steam Deck docking station for these regions began today on Komodo's Steam Deck website.

The Steam Deck is a portable gaming console that is popular with gamers around the world, including world-famous games such as AAA titles, and was released in February in North America and parts of Europe. It is also a full-fledged PC, and is critically acclaimed as a powerful portable gaming device that supports hundreds of single and multiplayer game titles.

KOMODO announced today that its "Steam Deck" will begin shipping in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan on December 17, 2022. In addition, pre-orders for the Steam Deck docking station for these regions began today on Komodo's Steam Deck website.

The first shipments will begin on the 17th, and orders confirmed after the 17th will be shipped in the next few days to two weeks.

In addition, a docking station will be available to expand the use of Steam Deck; orders placed with Steam Deck and the docking station will be shipped together. For a limited time, orders placed by December 17 will also receive free shipping, so be sure to check it out.

Komodo was co-founded by Ricky Wooi and Momose Jack Leung as a new independent company from the game division of Degica, Inc. and brings many years of game publishing experience, including the sale of the "Valve Index" VR system.
