Collaboration between "Urusei Yatsura" and "Akai Kitsune Midori-no-Tanuki" is decided! Web video & Twitter campaign starts today!

The collaboration between thefall 2022 anime"Urusei Yatsura" and Maruchan "Akai Kitsune Midori no Tanuki" has been decided, and the campaign started today, December 7, 2022 (Wednesday).

Rumiko Takahashi's debut work "Urusei Yatsura" is a love comedy between Ataru Moroboshi (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya), the "most evil" high school student on earth, and Rum (CV: Sumire Uesaka), a "devil girl" who came down from space. This is a comedy. This work is a completely new anime adaptation with a four-cour run. Directed by Hideya Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind" and animated by david production, which also produced "Flames of Fire".

Maruchan "Akai Kitsune Midori-no-Tanuki" has decided to collaborate with "Akai Kitsune Midori-no-Tanuki" and the campaign started today, December 7, 2022 (Wed.).

As the first step of the collaboration, a full-voice web movie featuring Hiroshi Kamiya (who plays Ataru), Sumire Uesaka (who plays Ram), and Mare Uchida (who plays Shinobu) was released, and a Twitter campaign to win a Urusei Yatsura collaboration box containing 6 each of the red fox and green tanuki was started. and a Twitter campaign to win a collaboration box containing six each of the red fox and green tanuki.

The web movie released on the collaboration site is composed in a familiar simulation game style to symbolize the sweet and sour love comedy that takes place in high school life. There are three movies in total: "Ataru," "Ram," and "Shinobu. Kamiya, Uesaka, and Uchida, who play the respective characters, narrate only for this video. We hope you will check out the videos, which bring out the best of each character's personality.

Naoyuki Asano of "Osomatsu-san" and "Don't mess with the Visual Effects Laboratory," and david production of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" series and "Flames of Fire" are in charge of animation production. Hiroshi Kamiya and Sumire Uesaka will play the hero, Ataru Moroboshi, aka "Darling," and the heroine, Ram, a couple of rare beauty.
