Five additional characters and their cast members have been announced who will add excitement to the world of "Triknights," an original high school rugby-themed animation scheduled to air in summer 2019.

The original high school rugby-themed TV animation "Triknights" is a coming-of-age story centered on two players who fight with their brains (tactics) and bodies (physicality). Animation production is handled by GONZO. The delicate characters weave an ensemble coming-of-age drama that is charmingly expressed in animation.

⇒ "Tri Nights", an original anime about high school rugby, will air in the summer of 2019! The main cast will be Sakamoto Shogo & KENN!

This time, the characters of Akalei Gakuin and Kitanosaka High School, the rival schools of the Souran High School rugby club to which the main characters Riku and Hikaru belong, have all been unveiled.

Takuya Sato will play the role of Reo Asamiya, a third-year student at Akalei Gakuin and a genius player who is the captain of the rugby team; Wataru Urata will play the role of Setsuya Katashiro, a second-year student who respects Reo; and Tomoya Fukui will play the role of Akiomi Suruga, a third-year student and vice-captain who organizes the team members together with Reo. Tomoya Fukui will play the role of the vice-captain, Satoro Setsuya Urata.

Shun Horie will play Rinto Arimura, a first-year student at Kitanosaka High School who has just joined the rugby club, and Haruki Ishitani will play Shogo Tenkawa, a second-year student and captain of the rugby club.

Asamiya Reiou (CV: Takuya Sato)

A third-year student at Akalei Gakuin. Captain of the rugby team.
A prodigy player who inherited the talent of his father, who was a member of the Japanese national rugby team.
He excels not only in physical ability, but also in judgment and analysis, and attacks his opponents effectively from both the playing and psychological aspects.
Although he appears to be cool-headed, he is stoic and strict with himself and others, and the members of the club trust him.

I am Takuya Sato, the voice of Reikou Asamiya. My name is Takuya Sato.
In the past few years, rugby has become so popular in Japan that even people who don't know about the sport can feel familiar with it. I hope that this momentum will grow through this "Tri-Nats".
Asamiya is a stoic young man who devotes himself to rugby to a scary degree.

Yukiya Katagi (CV: Wataru Urata)

A second-year student at Akalei Academy.
He has a core aesthetic and seeks flowing beauty in his play.
He has the utmost respect for Reiou and strives to be a regular member of the team so that he can feel Reiou's rugby at his side.

A sophomore at Kiwanosaka High School.
