Sunrise Festival 2023" to Feature Gorgeous Guests! Tickets for the Gundam times, advance lottery starts on December 16 (Fri.)!

Sunrise Festival 2023," a dream festival for anime fans to be held sequentially from January 9 (Mon., holiday) to 29 (Sun.), 2023, will feature a lineup of splendid guests.

Sunrise Festival" is an annual screening event held by Sunrise (currently Namco Bandai Filmworks) in collaboration with movie theaters since 2010.

Sunrise has been creating original IP (Intellectual Property) centering on animation for over 40 years, and NAMCO BANDAI Pictures (spun off from the Company in 2015) has an abundance of IP, with a focus on anniversary productions. Popular titles are screened daily, interspersed with talk shows, attracting many fans.

In 2022, Sunrise will change its name to NAMCO BANDAI FILM WORKS, and the "Sunrise Festival" will be renamed in the hope that the name "Sunrise," which is loved by fans, will continue to be used to promote strong familiarity with the works. Sunrise Festival" will continue without changing its name.

Sunrise Festival 2023" will be held from January 9 (Mon., holiday) to 29 (Sun.), 2023, and will include the appearance of splendid guests.

Screening episodes and ticket information have also been released, and the advance lottery for the Gundam series screening times at Shinjuku Piccadilly will begin at 12:00 on December 16, 2022 (Fri.).

Sunrise Festival 2023" will feature a lineup of guests ranging from legendary directors to cast members. Guests will appear on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the festival.

On January 9 (Mon., holiday), character designer and hero designer Masakazu Katsura and series director Seishi Nishida will appear at "TIGER & BUNNY SPECIAL EDITION SIDE TIGER," and on January 14 (Sat.) at "Phi Brain: The Puzzle of God," the first series' director Junichi Sato, who directed the first series, and Yohei Sasaki, character designer and chief animation director, will appear in "Phi Brain: God's Puzzle" on Saturday, January 14, and Mitsuko Kase, director, will appear in "TIGER & BUNNY 2" also on Saturday, January 14.

On Sunday, January 15, "40th Anniversary! In addition to an episode of each of the main series selected by public voting, a special dialogue video that can only be seen at this event will be shown. Tickets for the films to be screened at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro and Cinema Sunshine Numazu from January 9 (Mon., holiday) to 22 (Sun.) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the official website of each theater from about two weeks before each screening date.
