The downloadable game "Pazudora GOLD" for Switch will be available from January 15, 2020!

GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc. will release "Pazudora GOLD," a puzzle action game in which leader monsters move around in powerful 3D models, while maintaining the gameplay experience of "Puzzle & Dragons" (commonly known as "Pazudora"), a puzzle RPG for smartphones that has been downloaded a total of 53 million times in Japan. The puzzle action game "Pazudora GOLD" will be released for the Nintendo DS from January 15, 2020.

Leader monsters will appear in the game as 3D models for the first time in the "Pazudora" series. They will move around with powerful action during battles and when activating their skills.

Familiar characters from the animated TV series "Pazudora," such as "Taiga Akashi" and his sidekick "Tragon," appear in various scenes in the three elements of "Pazudora GOLD.

Three elements that can be enjoyed by beginners and experts alike

Pazudora Juku" tutorial
The tutorial teaches the basics of "Pazudora" such as how to move and erase drops in 3x3 squares, combos, and skills.

Story Mode
Players can compete against professional "Pazudora" gamers who appear in the TV animation. Players can choose either the "Taiga" or "Ryuji" version and challenge the "Pazudora Champions Cup" in which professional gamers participate. Players will be able to unlock new teams and avatars as they progress through the original storyline, in which they aim to win the tournament.

Battle" mode
The "Battle" mode consists of two phases: a skill phase in which players select which skills to activate, and a puzzle phase in which players attack by erasing drops. If the match cannot be won in a maximum of eight turns, the remaining HP will be used to determine the winner; if both players have zero HP at the same time, the average combo during the battle and the damage inflicted by each attribute will determine the winner.

Battles can be played through local or online communication*, and players can enjoy battles not only against other players, but also by themselves if they choose to play against NPCs.

Pre-built Teams
To allow players to enjoy playing against each other even if they are not familiar with team formation, a number of "pre-constructed teams" are available, each consisting of a leader and five monsters. Pre-constructed teams can be obtained by fulfilling the release conditions in the Story Mode or by exchanging your "rainbow drops" (in-game points).

Leader Monsters
The leader monster is a 3D model of a monster that mainly appears in the "Pazudora" animated TV series. Many sub monsters also appear. They can be obtained from gachas that can be turned with "rainbow drops" obtained by winning battles. The same monster may appear with different awakening skills.

Avatars
New characters are released when players fulfill certain conditions, such as defeating opponents in the story mode. The character can be used as the player's avatar by setting it up with a license card.

Skill Select
Some leader monsters can learn multiple skills. When customizing the team composition, you can choose the skills you like.

License Card
Players can check their game records. The avatar set on the license card will also appear as the player's avatar when playing against other players.
