The title of the second season of the TV anime "Idolish Seven" scheduled to air in April 2020 will be "Idolish Seven Second BEAT!

Idolish Seven" (a.k.a. "Ainana"), which has been developed in many fields including smartphone apps, TV anime, music CDs, and comics, started as a full-fledged rhythm game with full voices performed by a splendid voice cast that was released by Namco Bandai Online on August 20, 2015. The first season of the TV anime aired in January 2018 and gained popularity.

The second season, "Idolish Seven Second BEAT!" will air from April 2020 and will be directed by Makoto Bessho, with Ayumi Sekine as series composition, Arina Tanemura as character design, Masami Inomata as chief animation director, and TROYCA as animation production.


In addition, on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the Orix Theater in Osaka, the "Idolish Seven" TV anime event "Idolish Seven Fan Appreciation Festival vol. 5 Welcome! was held at the Orix Theatre in Osaka. On Saturday, December 14, 2019, "Idolish Seven Fan Appreciation Festival vol.5 Welcome! With the second season of the TV anime set to air in April 2020, "Idolish Seven" continues to gain momentum. This fifth fan event attracted a great deal of attention and enthusiasm from fans, as the event featured the largest number of cast members in the history of fan appreciation festivals.


Eight members took the stage: Yusuke Shirai as Yamato Nikaido, Tsubasa Dainaga as Mitsuki Izumi, Kenn as Tamaki Yotsuba, and Kensho Ono as Riku Nanase from IDOLiSH7; Wataru Hatano as Raku Yaotome, Souma Saito as Ten Kujo from TRIGGER; Soichiro Hoshi as Momo, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Sen from Re:vale. The event opened with an opening movie introducing the cast. After the event title was shown on the screen, the cast members appeared on stage in order. Ms. Shirai's greeting, "Hello, managers all over the country! to which fans responded with loud applause. During the first self-introduction, KENN said "Shut up! and Ms. Dainaga told him, "You must be happy, right? Of course, KENN laughed and said, "I'm happy, but...". After everyone had introduced themselves, Mr. Shirai said, "Finally! This is the first time the event is held outside of the Kanto region! We're here in Osaka! The other participants shouted "It's Osaka! and other members of the audience showed their enthusiasm for the first event in the Kansai region.


The first corner was an advanced screening of the first episode of the second season of the anime. Ms. Ono announced that the title of the second season of the anime would be "Idolish Seven Second BEAT! Ms. Shirai commented that "the camera angles and other things are quite smoky this time," to which Mr. Hatano responded, "Don't blink and watch it," and the screening began.


After the first episode, the audience was treated to the "I have to talk about my love! corner. The topic of the talk was the first episode of the second season that had just been screened. The topic of discussion was Re:vale, which will make a full-fledged appearance this time around. In the scene between Hyak and Sen, who play the role of senpai who are scared of IDOLiSH7 who come to greet them, Hoshi said that the scene had to be redone several times to "make it scarier" and made everyone in the audience laugh, "I'm not scared of my roots, so that's the best I can do. Also, although TRIGGER did not appear in the first episode, "the appearance of senpai changes their position in the production," and "they are not only cool, but show a variety of bare emotions. I'm looking forward to the scenario later on," said Saito, and Hatano-san nodded broadly in agreement with Saito's sincerity.


After talking about the first episode, the audience was treated to a reading of a play written especially for the Thanksgiving event. The story is about Yamato, who scares Riku, Tamaki, and Mitsuki with a ghost story about Santa zombies. Raku and his chaperone Ten came dressed as Santa to celebrate. Momo and Sen, dressed as Santa Claus, try to surprise Ainana with a Christmas-related story. The audience laughed out loud as misunderstandings led to misunderstandings in this fast-paced story. In the last scene, the reading play ended with a great success, with the manager's penlight used as an illumination as a surprise for Hyak and Sen.


The reading play ended on a high note with the cast competing against each other in a team competition called "Team vs! Taiko Drum Master Challenge" corner. Teams and songs were decided by lottery, and the first team to take on the challenge was Ono-san and Kenn's team. The music was "WiSH VOYAGE," and they immediately started playing in Oni mode. Second was the team of Ms. Hatano and Mr. Hoshi. They also played "Let's NATSU☆! The third team was Shirai-san and Tachibana-san's team. After the music videos were over and the excitement of the managers had not yet cooled down, the cast began to announce the release of "Wonderful Octave," sung by Sen, which will be released on December 24. Tachibana commented on the CD, "I think you will enjoy what happens when Sen does the radio show. REUNION" Blu-ray & DVD, which will be released on February 5. In addition, some photos of the goods at the "REUNION" exhibition, which will be held at three venues nationwide starting February 5, were also revealed. The last item on the agenda was a new Ichiban Kuji Lottery, which will be released in April 2020, and this time it will be a collaboration with Sumikko Gurashi. The managers and cast members alike were excited to see the deformed idols and Sumikko and her friends in the newly-drawn visuals, calling them "adorable.


As the event came to an end, the cast members expressed their thoughts on the event and said a few words to the managers, with Ms. Shirai closing with "Ookini" in Kansai dialect, Ms. Dainaga saying "I'm looking forward to seeing ŹOOĻ next time," and Ms. Ono saying "This year was the Ono said, "This year was the "INANA year".
