A new PV and cast for the TV anime "Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia," which will be broadcast from April 2023, have been revealed.

Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia" by Ojiro Makoto, a leading manga artist of adolescence who also wrote "Fuji-san wa shounen-ki", is serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits". Set in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, it depicts the coming-of-age story of high school students Maruta Nakami and Isaki Kyoku, who both suffer from insomnia. Animation production is by Raiden Film, with music by Yuki Hayashi.

The TV anime will start airing in April 2023 on TV Tokyo and other stations. In the new key visual, Maruta and Isaki are connected by earphone cords even though they are in different rooms, and the catchphrase "What are you doing now? The catchphrase, "What are you doing right now?

A new cast member has also been announced. Haruka Tomatsu will play the role of Yui Shiromaru, an OG of the astronomy club. The astronomy club advisor, Usako Kurashiki, will be played by Mamiko Noto, who hails from Ishikawa Prefecture, where the production is set. The cast also includes Seiichiro Yamashita, Lynn, Natsumi Fujiwara, Sumire Moroboshi, and Sho Kano.
